Artist Spotlight: Point North

pointnorthPoint North is the next pop punk band to break. The Los Angeles based group released their debut EP, ‘A Light in a Dark Place’ on March 10th via Dark Kingdom Records. Their single “Dearly Departed” was made available in January through a music video premiere with Rock Sound.

Their debut outing was mixed and mastered by Zack Odom & Kenneth Mount at ZK Productions. With soaring choruses and a knack for a style of rock infused pop all their own, Point North is off to a great start while having not played a show yet. (Catch them at The Viper Room in Hollywood, CA on May 11.) The band is light years ahead of other acts in their early stages.

Point North has amassed quite the following already with over 25,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. “Everybody Fades” and “Blameless” both have over 50,000 streams while their lead single “Dearly Departed” has eclipsed 25,000. Listen to ‘A Light in a Dark Place’ below!

Artist Spotlight: Avion Roe

avionroeAvion Roe hail from Dallas, TX and are signed to Epitaph Records. The band is currently touring in support of their full-length record, In Separation. The rock group is set to head out on tour with It Lives, It Breathes and Ghost Parade in March.

“Into The Rest” features vocals from Sleeping With Sirens frontman Kellin Quinn. The band were signed to Epitaph after Quinn stumbled upon their music online. Their Epitaph debut was produced by Kris Crummett.

Avion Roe are Vans Warped Tour alumni and are going to make their biggest mark yet with a new album in the future. The band is on the verge of something magical and with the right, next steps as songwriters, they’ll take on the world with bigger strides than their debut. Find out more at their website. Artist Spotlight: Bad Seed Rising

badseedBad Seed Rising are a rock band from Baltimore, MD signed to Roadrunner Records. They have since released their debut LP, Awake In Color, on September 30th, 2016. They’re set to hit the road with Memphis May Fire, Blessthefall, The Color Morale, and Sylar this March.

The band is the youngest to sign to Roadrunner and have quite a career ahead of them if they can stay active on the road and consistently progress through albums. Showcasing beautiful melodies and hard-hitting musicianship, Bad Seed Rising are well on their way to becoming your new favorite rock artist.

The band began their career by releasing a handful of EPs, most noteable, A Place Called Home which they toured in support of to gain their loyal, grassroots fan base. Artist Spotlight: Dangerkids

dangerkidsDangerkids hail from Dayton, OH. Their brand of rock music has taken shape in their latest release, blacklist_. The band recently supported Falling In Reverse, Motionless In White, and Issues on a month long tour which saw the release of their sophomore record on January 27th via Paid Vacation Records.

While the band has a long way to go to become a household name, they’re well on their way to crafting a sound all their own. Through hard work and dedication to creating one fan at a time, blacklist_ found itself at #7 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart in its first week out.
